How can you optimise the charging of your battery Bosch?

When should you charge your battery?

The Bosch PowerPack 500 battery has no memory effect and can be recharged at any time, whatever its state of charge!

Charging time

It will take 4.5 hours to fully charge your PowerPack 500 with a standard charger, and around 2 hours to half-charge your lithium-ion battery.

With the fast charger Bosch, a full charge will take just 3 hours.

Suitable chargers

The Bosch PowerPack 500 battery can be recharged with the Bosch Standard 4Ah charger.

For a charger that's easy to carry, consider the Bosch Compact 2Ah charger, which is 40% lighter than the standard version!

For fast 100% recharging in just 3 hours, the Bosch Rapide 6Ah charger is just what you need.

If you still have your original Bosch charger, it will still be compatible with your new Bosch PowerPack 500 battery.

Maintenance advice for your battery

To maintain your battery, first remove it from the electric bicycle. Simply wipe it clean with a damp cloth.

There are a few guidelines to follow to optimise the life of your battery:

We recommend charging at a temperature of between 10 and 20°C.

If you need to store your electrically-assisted bicycle, we also recommend that you keep the charge level between 30 and 60% and avoid direct contact with sunlight.
