The lifespan of Bosch batteries is influenced by the type and duration of their use. They are designed to withstand many years of use and have an electronic management system to prevent overheating, overcharging and deep discharge. But like all lithium-ion batteries, they can wear out if they are not maintained properly. Read our guide to find out how to maintain your battery so that it lasts up to 1000 cycles!

Bosch batteries can be partially recharged at any time, and charging interruptions will not damage them. As these batteries have no memory effect, a full discharge is not necessary.
Charging the Powertube or Powerpack batteries is simple: simply remove them from your ebike or charge them on the bike. We recommend charging at a temperature of between 10 and 20°C.
If you need to store your electrically-assisted bicycle, we also recommend that you keep the charge level between 30 and 60% and avoid direct contact with sunlight.
