Doctibike Achieves ISO 14001:2015 Certification

Doctibike obtient la certification ISO14001

We are proud to announce that Doctibike obtained ISO 14001:2015 certification on May 19, 2026, following an audit conducted by SOCOTEC. This certification is valid for three years and is subject to regular surveillance audits designed to ensure the maintenance and continuous improvement of our environmental practices.

What is the ISO 14001 standard?

The ISO 14001 standard (or ISO 14001:2015) is an internationally recognized framework that defines the requirements for environmental management within organizations. Its objective is to help companies reduce their environmental impact, comply with applicable regulations, and continuously improve their environmental performance.

To obtain this certification, a company must implement an Environmental Management System (EMS). This system helps structure all of the company's environmental initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and establish procedures tailored to its activities.

An audit carried out by an independent certification body then verifies that the EMS complies with the requirements of the standard.

Why did Doctibike commit to this process?

Since its creation, Doctibike has placed the circular economy and the responsible management of batteries for electric bicycles, electric two-wheelers, and electric scooters at the heart of its business. Following on from the QualiRépar label, obtaining ISO 14001 certification is a natural extension of this approach and reflects our determination to further strengthen our commitments.

This certification enables us to:

  • Further structure our internal processes through clearly defined procedures and operating methods.

  • Continuously improve our environmental management, particularly in terms of waste management and energy consumption optimization.

  • Ensure effective regulatory monitoring and compliance with environmental requirements applicable to our activities.

  • Benefit from international recognition of our environmental commitments.

A major challenge in the battery industry

Batteries represent a product with significant environmental challenges throughout their entire life cycle. As a company specialized in the diagnosis, repair, and refurbishment of batteries for electric bicycles, we have a responsibility to effectively manage the impacts associated with their handling, storage, transportation, and end-of-life treatment.

ISO 14001 certification therefore strengthens our ability to:

  • Enhance our credibility with suppliers, partners, and professional customers.

  • Strengthen our brand image and environmental commitment.

  • Secure our practices by ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

  • Respond to certain tenders and contracts that include environmental criteria.

  • Engage all of our teams around shared objectives and prepare for future developments in the industry.

A continuous improvement approach

Achieving ISO 14001 certification is not an end in itself but an important step in our development. Over the next three years, Doctibike will continue its continuous improvement initiatives to further reduce its environmental impact and contribute to more sustainable electric mobility.

This certification rewards the daily commitment of our teams and confirms our determination to combine performance, innovation, and environmental responsibility.
