Our small electric mobility experts will recondition your original Décathlon battery in our workshops in France.

While reconditioning is more environmentally friendly, it also ensures that your new battery is compatible with your electric bike: while the battery receives new energy cells, its casing and connections remain the same! Reconditioning your battery is also cheaper than buying a new one. Reconditioning also allows you to increase the amperage of your original battery, for more autonomy.

Your Decathlon 36V battery for an Elops 700 or 900 electric bike can be reconditioned to 10.4 amps (its original rating), or 11.6 amps, 12.8 amps or 14 amps.

How do I choose the right amperage?

By using our reconditioning service, you can choose to keep the same amperage as your original battery to maintain the same power, and therefore the same range as your original battery.

Need more range on your Elops 700 or 900 electric bike? You can increase the amperage, depending on your range requirements:

- 11.6 amperes, for an average range of 50 km*

- 12.8 amps, for an average range of 55 km*

- 14 amperes, for an average range of 65 km*

*Average range depending on the conditions in which your electric bike is used (type of terrain, speed, total weight on the bike, etc.).

How do I recondition my Decathlon battery?

Step 1:

After choosing the desired amperage, I validate my order on doctibike.com

Step 2:

I receive a transport voucher (Colissimo or Mondial Relay) by email, within 24 hours.

Step 3:

I carefully pack my original battery so that it is as still as possible during transport. I drop my parcel off at my nearest post office: the parcel will be sent to our workshop!

Step 4:

Doctibike's expert technicians recondition my battery, in their workshops in France.

Step 5:

I receive my initial reconditioned battery by return parcel, at home, after an average of 15 working days.

Step 6:

I enjoy long rides on my trusty steed!
