The easiest way is to check your battery’s connector: oval = compatible; round = Smart System, not compatible.
If you’re replacing a 400 Wh Horizontal PowerTube, you can install this 500 Wh version without any modifications, as both batteries have the same dimensions.
However, since the 625 Wh PowerTube is longer, it requires a frame specifically designed for this capacity.
To maintain your battery’s performance over the long term, charge it in a dry place at room temperature, avoid storing it when fully discharged, and keep the charge level between 50% and 60% during prolonged periods of inactivity.
Finally, always remove the battery before cleaning your bike to protect the electrical components.
