• You don't have to wait for the battery to discharge completely before you can charge it. The Bosch battery has no memory effect, which means it can be recharged whenever you want, regardless of the charge level.

Charging time

• With a standard charger, your electric battery will be fully charged in 4.5 hours, and it will take 2 hours to reach 50% charge.
• If you have a compact charger, you'll need 4.5h to reach 50% and 7.5h for 100% charge.
• Finally, if you have a rapid charger, allow around 3h for a full charge and just 1.2h to reach 50% charge.

Expert advice for your battery

• Like all Bosch batteries, it is protected against deep discharge, short circuit and overheating.
• However, it's a good idea to charge it for around 30 minutes a month when the battery is not in use, for example during winter storage (ideally, keep the state of charge between 50 and 60%)
• When charging your battery, be sure to keep it in a dry place at room temperature.
