When should you charge your battery?

The Bosch PowerPack 500 battery has no memory effect and can be recharged at any time, whatever its state of charge!

Charging time

It will take 4h30 to fully charge your PowerPack 500 with a standard charger, and around 2h to half-charge your lithium-ion battery.

With the Bosch rapid charger, full charging takes just 3 hours.

Suitable chargers

The Bosch PowerPack 500 battery can be recharged with the Bosch Standard 4Ah charger.

For a charger that's easy to carry, look no further than Bosch Compact 2Ah, which is 40% lighter than the standard version!

For fast 100% recharging in just 3 hours, the Bosch Rapide 6Ah charger is just what you need.

If you need to store your electrically-assisted bicycle, we also recommend keeping the charge level between 30 and 60%, and avoiding direct contact with sunlight.
