The average life of the battery, by which time it will have lost much of its performance, is around three years, under good maintenance conditions.

For example, in the case of Samsung, the manufacturer claims a 10% drop in capacity after 300 cycles, then 30% after 700 cycles, for daily use.

How long will the test take?

The test takes 2 hours on average for a standard 10Ah battery.

The test depends on various characteristics: voltage, amperage, watts. With an end-of-life battery, the test will take just a few minutes.

What's the cost to the customer?

Between 30 and 50 euros incl. VAT are the average prices on the market.

Which batteries can be tested?

All rechargeable batteries between 6 and 48V, Lithium Ion battery technology, but also Nimh, Lead, Nicd.

Various discharge cables and adapters enable you to test protected brands or "communicating" batteries such as Bosch, Shimano, Yamaha, Giant for example.

Which brands can be tested?

In addition to the brands listed, and depending on market trends and your business, other cables can be supplied. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any requests you may have. We can also create customized discharge cables to suit your needs.

What will I give the customer?

a full A4 test report can be printed out. The most important value is at the top right of the report: capacity in Wh, Ah in percent. You can also use the graph with various curves (Volt, load, resistance) on the results interpretation file.

Does the customer leave with a document?

For reasons of time or space, you can inform your customer about his capacity without connecting to a PC, and offer a ticket showing the key data. The customer can also leave with a certificate and a flyer entitled "Advice on battery use and storage".
