When should you charge your battery?

With the Bosch PowerPack 400 range, you can recharge your battery at any time, whatever its charge level. In fact, Bosch technology protects against interruptions to charging, so your battery won't be damaged! You can charge your Bosch PowerPack 400 battery directly on your bike, or remove it from the rack and charge it separately.

Charging time

Using a standard charger, your Bosch PowerPack 400 battery is fully charged in around 3h30. It reaches 50% charge in 1h30 on average.

With a rapid charger, your battery reaches 100% of its charge in just 2h30 on average. It reaches 50% of its charge in around 1 hour.

Which charger to choose?

If you already have an original Bosch charger, it is perfectly compatible with this battery.

Thanks to its innovative technology, your Bosch PowerPack 400 carrier battery is protected against deep discharge.

However, for prolonged storage (during the winter period), we advise you to maintain a charge level between 30% and 60%. We also recommend storing your battery in a dry place at room temperature (between 10° and 20°C).
