New battery

The Brose BMZ 36 V 22.8 Ah battery is designed to power electric bikes equipped with a system compatible with this part number.
With a capacity of 820 Wh, it provides ample power to support your daily commutes and long bike rides.
This battery is designed to replace an original battery with the exact part number 612998, provided it is compatible with your bike’s electrical system.

Before purchasing your replacement battery, it is essential to check the exact part number on the label of your current battery.

Please note part number 616276: this other version of the BMZ battery is designed for bikes equipped with a Shimano motor.
Although its specifications may appear similar, it should not be considered interchangeable with part number 612998.

Voltage and capacity alone are not enough to confirm the compatibility of an e-bike battery. The part number, connectors, and electronic management system must also match.

Before replacing your battery, take the time to note its part number directly from the original product label.
Also check your bike’s motor type and keep a record of your electric system’s specifications.
To maximize the lifespan of your new battery, use a compatible charger and follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for charging and storage.
In particular, avoid extreme temperatures and store your bike in a dry, temperate location when you’re not using it for an extended period.
Our advice: If you’re unsure whether to choose part numbers 612998 or 616276, don’t rely solely on the listed voltage or capacity.
The exact part number of the original battery and your bike’s motor specifications are the key factors to verify before purchasing.
