In order to organize the transport of your battery to our workshop, Doctibike provides for a collection of the battery in your store. To ensure that the battery arrives in the best possible conditions, here are our recommendations:
What should I send?
It is essential that the key and the charger are attached to the battery. The key allows us to put it in the ON position and the charger allows us to make a complete charge cycle and to test its good functioning.
In the case of a bionx batterybattery, do not forget to attach the display on the handlebars of the bike, because it is linked to the operation of the battery.
Protect your battery
To avoid damage to the battery during transport, we recommend :
- Choose a solid box/package per battery and of appropriate size (not too big, not too small) so that your products are immobilized and not damaged during transport,
- Protect the products you are shipping inside the package by surrounding them with bubble wrap, polystyrene flakes, air cushions, in order to help immobilize the products,
- Separate the products one by one and close the package with adhesive tape.
In case of problems...
Know that in the event of non-observance of the recommendations detailed above, the responsibility for Doctibike could not be committed and expenses of repair could be invoiced to you.
On the other hand, if the recommendations described above have been respected but one or several products contained in the parcel have been damaged during transport, we will take charge of the repair after filing a claim with our insurance company.
