Delivery in France
At Doctibike, all deliveries are made by GLS. You can choose to have your order delivered directly to your home or to a delivery point near you. We deliver to mainland France: overseas regions (DOM-TOM) are not served.
As far as delivery times are concerned, if the products you have ordered are in stock, delivery will take place within 3 to 4 working days in mainland France and 8 to 10 working days for the European countries served, from receipt of your payment.
As indicated when you placed your order, pre-order items take longer to deliver. The exact delivery time depends on each product and has been communicated to you on the product sheet. The article will be dispatched as soon as it arrives in stock, and you will receive an e-mail to inform you of its dispatch. Doctibike undertakes to do everything possible to send you your parcel as quickly as possible.
For repairs, diagnostics and battery reconditioning, lead times are 15 to 20 working days.
Delivery charges vary according to the delivery method you have selected:
For delivery to a relay point in France, the rate is €10 for parcels under 1kg and €12 for parcels under 30kg.
For home delivery in France, the price is €10 for parcels under 15kg, €12 for parcels between 15kg and 30kg and €24 for parcels over 30kg.
Shipping costs include packaging, handling and postage. All our deliveries are handled by the GLS carrier, which ensures secure transport of batteries. We do not take any margin on the transport and delivery of your orders.
TRANSPORT IN THE CASE OF DIAGNOSIS OR RECONDITIONING
If you order a reconditioning or diagnosis of your battery on the www.doctibike.com website, you will be charged a total of €20 inc. VAT for postage. This amount includes sending your battery to our premises and returning it to you once the reconditioning or diagnosis has been completed.
To send your battery to our premises, you will need to pack it carefully according to the instructions below, print out the delivery note you received by e-mail and drop off your parcel at your nearest drop-off point.
Packing your parcel carefully when sending a battery for diagnosis or reconditioning
Pack your parcel carefully! Make sure your battery is well protected so that it is not damaged during transport. We advise you to follow these steps:
- 1. Choose a sturdy cardboard box/package for each battery, of an appropriate size (not too big, not too small) so that your products are immobilised and not damaged during transport.
- 2. Protect the products you are sending inside the parcel by surrounding them with bubble wrap, polystyrene flakes or air cushions, to help immobilise the products.
- 3. Separate the products one by one and seal the parcel with adhesive tape. To prevent the keys from getting lost in the box, you can tape them to the battery.
ATTENTION: The keys should only be attached if they are used to ignite the battery.
